The Cloud: Partycentral for Rugby World Cup

The Cloud is a $9.8 million temporary structure being built especially for the Rugby World Cup is the main tourist attraction.  The 175 metre-long structure is the biggest fanzone for the Rugby World Cup, capable of hosting 15,000 people and was full house at the time of Opening Night of Rugby World Cup 2011. The showcased the preview of New Zealand's insights and innovations from agribusiness, tourism, marine, aviation, forestry, fashion and wine.
