Albert Park is one of Auckland's most important parks. It's located in the heart of Auckland CBD. Its long history and unique character have made the park a special place for the Aucklanders and it an important destination for visitors.
Access to the park is from Kitchener Street, Wellesley Street, Princes Street and Bowen Avenue.
Public toilets are situated between Albert Park House and the pedestrian walkway from Albert Park over Wellesley Street East.

At one corner of the park is the Auckland City Art Gallery and on the other side is the original park-keepers cottage which is now a museum of memorabilia.
The park also features a range of statuary and memorials, as well as formal flower beds, a Victorian fountain and beautiful trees.
