Albert Park

Albert Park is one of Auckland's most important parks. It's located in the heart of Auckland CBD. Its long history and unique character have made the park a special place for the Aucklanders and it an important destination for visitors.  Access to the park is from Kitchener Street, Wellesley Street, Princes Street and Bowen Avenue. Public toilets are situated between Albert Park House and the pedestrian walkway from Albert Park over Wellesley Street East. Rugby World Cup 2011 Countdown

A giant rugby world cup countdown installed at Britomart by Auckland Council is the  one of the newest tourist attraction created for the Rugby World Cup.  Auckland is the host city for the Rugby World Cup finals.  The Accommodations in Auckland are fully booked. The visitors in Auckland will be doubled than normal times.  New Zealand co-hosted the first Rugby World Cup  with Australia in 1987.  This is the first time in the history that New Zealand is the sole host of the event.
